Thats the child I had loved for all of its life, whose first steps I would have watchd and whose first smile I have seen. That essentially is my child.

I would propose to the other parents a close friendship, or even living into a two-family household. That way both pairs of parents and both children could live together.

tha kids age being only 1 year, there isa good chance that it may not affect him/her as much as if it were done when they are in thier teen age years or elder... i would. think about it... its only gonna affect tha child more as more time passes

i'd put the offer "on tha table" so to say.. it'll be up to tha foster parents... and if they'd wanna giv up "their child" who they arent exactly parents of. at that age, theres a strong possibilty of it not affecting tha child as much as if it were done when the child is elder. but that also depends on if the other parents would be willing to give "their child" up. === Original Message ===

Probably not exchange it forever, but maybe take turns having the baby visit. I'm sure the other parents would want to do it to.
